Josh Collins is a Commercial and residential building envelope professional specializing in High Performance Buildings, Spray Polyurethane Foam Insulation and Air Barrier Solutions.
He is also a materials specialist with 14 years experience in commercial and residential building insulation specification, application and performance.
Josh is BPI Cettified as a Building Analyst Professional, holds his Envelope Professional Certification and is a certified HERS Rater through Resnet.
The General Contractors Continuing Education Classes are designed to ensure the 8-hour requirement of the NCLBGC for relicensing is met.

BT112 The Sealed Attic
2 Credit hours
In this course, sealed attic. The student will be able to competently answer questions about the key differences between a sealed attic and a vented attic. They will also use the current building code to outline the basic design differences and benefits of a selaed attic.
M2024 NCLBGC Mandatory Course
2 Credit hours
The North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors (NCLBGC) has embarked upon developing and delivering this Mandatory class. Students will review current law, regulations, rules and statutory terminology used by the NCLBGC.
BT109 Comfort and Indoor Air Quality
4 Credit hours
Selling comort is a difficult proposition and requires knowledge of building science principles and how they interact with current applications to com at the elements of discomfort.
